Nature and Scope of Role

The Dual Store Manager will report to the Regional Manager and will have a dotted reporting line to the Complimentary Brand Manager for all Built-in Cooking Centre related matters.
The Dual Store Manager will be aware of the competitive and customer oriented nature of the work to be undertaken and will appreciate the necessity for maintaining and improving upon Noel Leeming Group’s (inclusive of Noel Leeming and Built-in Cooking Centre) market position.
The Company is committed to excellent customer service and to achieving its set sales and profit targets. The Company will support and train the Dual Store Manager to be able to achieve targets and manage the teams.  In return, the Dual Store Manager must be conversant with all Company systems, policies and procedures, including statistical analysis, staff coaching and using the Company sales and training programme, which encapsulates the entire operational system for the day-to-day running of the Lifestyle and Noel Leeming businesses.
The Dual Store Manager will understand, and ensure their performance reflects, Noel Leeming Group’s core values and Mission Statement. The Dual Store Manager will ensure that the Noel Leeming Group customer service core values, standards and behaviours are consistently delivered in the store for both external and internal customers.
The role is responsible for the management of employees in a team environment and has key-holding responsibilities. As Dual Store Manager, the role is responsible for motivating, coaching, developing and managing employees using the Company’s performance management and operating systems.
The Dual Store Manager will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to ensure that the professional image of the Company is projected positively at all times. Part of the Company’s professional image is to provide a Dual Store Manager and their Noel Leeming team with a Company uniform, which is required to be worn during business hours, and at all official Company functions (e.g. training sessions) and supplier events. The Built-in Cooking Centre team do not have a uniform and will wear smart / business casual during business hours, and at all official Company functions.  The Dual Store Manager can wear smart / business casual to Built-in Cooking Centre functions outside of work hours.
As a professional, the Dual Store Manager will be aware of the need to achieve profit for the Company and the store that they are responsible for. Sales and margin targets will be set as key performance indicators of the operations programme, used to monitor each stores performance.
A Dual Store Manager will also be required to complete any administrative functions related to the sales process and day-to-day administration of the business in accordance with Company Policy.
A Dual Store Manager may also be required to drive a Company vehicle to undertake deliveries and other Company business. All Company vehicles must be driven lawfully and in a courteous and safe manner at all times. At least a Restricted Driver’s Licence is required in order to drive company vehicles and the employee must abide by any restrictions and endorsements of their licence.  In order to drive company trucks and forklifts, the appropriate licence endorsement is required.
A Dual Store Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s Health and Safety Policy for the store.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• To ensure the teams in the Noel Leeming store and the Lifestyle Appliances store consistently deliver customer service in accordance with Noel Leeming Group customer service values, standards and behaviours.
• To understand and maintain the integrity of each of the brands (Noel Leeming and Lifestyle Appliances) and to ensure brand personality and core values remain upheld within each.
• To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers in accordance with Noel Leeming Group customer service standards.
• To conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times, recognising that this also covers the areas of personal presentation, demeanour and driving Company vehicles
• To achieve sales and profit targets for both stores and Company.  This will be done by setting monthly, weekly and daily sales targets, which in conjunction with the Regional Manager, will be determined as part of the Company’s operational programme and form part of the overall Company’s sales objectives.
• To motivate, coach, develop and manage all team members in both stores to help them to achieve set objectives
• To ensure the right people are available at the right time by effectively recruiting, Inducting and planning for labour scheduling requirements
• To complete, in a timely and accurate manner, all paperwork associated with the sales process
• To undertake, where necessary, delivery of goods to customers, including installation and tuning in accordance with Company outlines and policies
• To manage store operations as per the standards set down in the Company’s operations programme and as directed by the Regional Manager
• To understand and conform to all Company policies and procedures
• To display integrity in all interactions with customers and in the approach to work tasks
• To ensure that Company security procedures are maintained
• To be responsible for and manage for the store, the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, including immediately reporting any unsafe work conditions, equipment or practices
• To undertake any other duties as required
