Board of Directors |
Through sound governance, the Board will monitor: · Adherence to the principles of wellbeing through good policy and strategy, ensuring that the wellbeing principles continue to meet TWG’s health and safety obligations. · This policy is formally reviewed to check that wellbeing is important at TWG. |
Executive Team |
Through sound leadership, the Executive team will monitor: · The everyday work environment supports the safety, security and wellbeing of our Team Members and customers. · Wellbeing principles, initiatives and activities are part of our way of working. · Gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement in wellbeing are seen to in an appropriate time frame and reported to the Board as necessary. |
Senior Managers and Site Managers

Providing a work environment that safeguards wellbeing by: · Managers and Team Members understand the wellbeing principles. · Managers set rosters and shift patterns in order to provide adherence to the wellbeing principles, and in particular to ensure hours of work are reasonable, and to provide for rest periods to be taken. · Managers ensure that Team Members observe the wellbeing principles. · Managers will monitor Team Members as necessary to ensure that they are aware of any issues that may adversely affect wellbeing. · Any issues drawn to the attention of Managers are addressed quickly and appropriately, and escalated if necessary. · All reasonable and practicable steps are taken to safeguard wellbeing. |
All Team Members |
All Team Members undertake all work in a manner that ensures their wellbeing by: · Taking reasonable care for their own wellbeing, including ensuring that they get enough sleep, maintain a nutritious diet and stay hydrated during their working day. · Actively participating in wellbeing initiatives. · Taking their rest periods during the course of their working day. · Making their manager(s) aware of any other work (paid or unpaid) that they undertake so that TWG can be aware of any issues arising from fatigue. · Drawing to the attention of their manager(s) any health or other issues that TWG needs to be aware of in order to ensure their wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. · Advise their manager(s) if there are any circumstances in which they are fatigued or that their wellbeing is of concern to them. · For night-fill Team Members in particular they should ensure that TWG is aware of any other (paid or unpaid) work, and that they get enough sleep and maintain their nutrition. |
