Overview

To oversee and monitor administrative procedures in stores to ensure consistency within the region.  To ensure all administrative procedures are completed in accordance with company policy and procedure. The position reports to the Regional Manager and has a dotted reporting line to the National Administration Manager.  It is based in multiple sites across the region. The Regional Administrator is not responsible for the supervision of any employees, but coordination of particular projects and promotions with other team members may be required from time to time.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Regional Administration
• Provide administrative support for the Regional Manager and store network.
• To be the central point of communication between the SSO Operations Team and the region.
• Ensure all regional processes and systems are maintained
• Oversee and assist in general administration processes of stores including following up on repairs in a timely manner and ensuring finance contacts are complete and accurate.
• Prepare daily banking information and check paperwork, which must be completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee and assist where required in the banking/ cash up process and investigating variances.
• Oversee and assist in stock control processes including; cycle counts, category counts, storeroom processes (receipting/ sold stock), processes at point of sale, RFC’s.
• Assist with loss prevention investigations when the occasion arises.
• Oversee and check daily paperwork and advise the Store Manager of any such paperwork that does not comply with our Company policy
• Provide training to Regional Administrators and new team members as required.

Customer Service
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• To display integrity in all interactions with customers and in the approach to work tasks.

General
• To conduct self in a professional manner at all times, this also covers personal presentation, demeanour and driving Company vehicles.
• To understand and conform to all Company policies and procedures.
• To undertake any other duties as required.

• To comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, including the immediate reporting of any accident or unsafe work conditions, equipment or practices.

• Several years proven experience at an equivalent level within retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building effective relationships with team members and customers.
